Is there any way to know the computer is connected to a router?

I know using WebRequest is one of the method,
but WebRequest need router's URL , username and password.
I don't know those information.

Is there any other way to know the existence of router?

Thanks.

There is a protocol for that but it depends on the router being
configured to advertise its presence.

In what situation do you need to find a router? Normally a client
machine will have the default router address supplied by DHCP.

Thank you for your reply.

I am doing a project which writing a small window app.
It determines the computer that runs this app have a router connected
or not.
If yes, it will do A. Otherwise do B.

This app is distributed to different client.
I don't know each default router address.

Thanks in advanced

The problem is, every computer on a network is "connected to a router" (of
some sort). In fact, a computer not connected to a network also has a
router (itself). So... what do you really want to know?
