Yes, depending on your post code, you could use www.mynow.co.uk

you can have broadband from £10 per month
you can get up and running within 24 hours
you can try wireless broadband for 30 days, risk-free
you can enjoy free customer service 7 days a week

Both my In-laws and a mate of mine have used them for over a year, and never
had to call C/S

Satellite-delivered broadband tends to be one-way only, with the uplink being
telephone based (dialup or ISDN)

However, two-way satellite systems are available, but are considerably more
expensive than ADSL. Typical speeds are 2048k down, 1024k up.

You are looking at over £1000 for setup, and around £60/month for service charges.

If you can get _ANY_ ADSL in your area, for that money you get better throughput
with multiple lines and routers, and some load balancing/bonding by your ISP

And you can't get it if you are near an airport as the installation requires
a licence as its a radio transmitter, the companies that supply sattelite
have to apply to the CAA for permission if you are near an airport and they
generally say no.
I know because I tried a few years ago.

.... and as I understand it not very nice for interactive use (i.e.
where you are typing and characters are being echoed back from the
remote).
