Hi,

I'm thinking about changing my wireless kit for 802.11a to keep out of
the way of video senders and other devices that tend to interfere with
b/g. Are there are 802.11a routers out there yet?

I thought 11a kit was *more* prone to interference than 11b/g kit? I thought
that was one of the reasons for it's demise.

My understanding is that b/g uses 2.4GHz, which is shared with things
like Bluetooth, video senders and DECT phones. 802.11a is up around
5GHz -- I don't know if anything else uses that. Presumably the high
frequency means that the signal is absorbed more easily, though.
