Testing Remote Access

I am curious if anyone knows a way to test remote access from inside the
network.
Typically i would use an anolog line and then connect to a dial up account
and test the remote access that way. I was hoping there might be a way
through proxy or something to simulate this without the anolog line..any help
would be appreciated.

It is not easy, because one of the first things a RAS client does is check
for a dial tone! You can test VPN on a local LAN because it only requires a
TCP/IP connection to work over.
