how test if network adapter is up

Hi,
i want to know how can i know if a network adapter is up or is down if there
is a cable probleme via script schedule.

SystemInfo->Hardware->Device Manager. And in the list of devices check
Network adapters
Programmatically use GetIfTable()/GetIfEntry() from IPHLPAPI

hi Frenkel,
i'm not a programmer.

I need a .vbs script that controll if a single Lan adapter (the name of
adapter is "LAN INTERNA") is or in not connect to cable.
If there isn't cable connect the vbs script execute a .bat program
