tesco speed issue

have used tesco bb for 10 months without any complaint. but for the last 2
month i have e-mailed them regarding dropped pages and speeds which are up
and down like a fiddlers elbow. im on a 512kb connection. i get the usual
have i checked for virus's, spyware, we will look in to it. but it's still
the same now.
anyone having the same problems

I do not have the particular problem with my Tesco Broadband, but I do have
the same problems with thier NON Support Dept.
A friend said if one wants support not to use a Supermarket ISP or similar
who do not actually have the things and subcontract to otheres.

It really is more likely to be your computer mate, the slightest click of a
random 'yes' box in internet explorer can really frig things up. As someone
who used to be in I.T support i can assure you it's rarely the network.

However you could always perform checks on your connection; any commands
needed etc post another post!
