Does anyone know anything about the new Tesco.net 1mb download service?
I currently have the 512mb service but would like to upgrade, however
the new service has a 3gb capp which I am a bit worried about. I
download a fair amount and also play games online and will soon have an
xbox360 hooked up!

Anyone know what happens when you reach your your limit? Do you get
charged or is your service cut or is it then limited to 512 for which
they charge the same amount?

Their service has been ok, so don't really want to look for a new ISP,
so only any help on this topic would be appreciated.

Tesco have been advertising their service as uncapped. I picked up a
Tesco install disc very recently (it was inside their free store mag for
October or November) and it plainly states "no download limits".

I suggest you hold of a mag & disc and then ask Tesco what their
definition of *no limits* is.

That was for the 512 service which is the same price and is unlimited -
this is their new 1meg broadband service.

And boy, don't think about trying to cancel your Tesco's account. They will
completely mess it up, and take 6 weeks to do what you have asked them to
do.
