Has anyone got any recent experience of them I can't find much out there.
My O2 BB deal & BT Line rental saver periods are almost over so I'm
shopping around.

You have to take their line rental at £11.75 to get the BB which is £8 for
unlimited giggers, up to 20Mb connection.
Whilst the line rental is not that competetive, there are 4 months free & I
can pay the BB with clubcard vouchers, downside is no 0845/0870 in the
inclusive evening & weekend calls, but I always avoid them of find an
alternative. Also don't know if they allow 18185.

Cheers

I did enquire of Tesco as to speed I would get and it was just under half
that I get now from Be Unlimited, get good service from Be, their owners own
O2 as well.
What speed you getting and what will Tesco get you?
By the way I have both BB and anytime phone with Be.
Regards
David

I suggest you do your research a bit more thoroughly at www.kitz.co.uk

Oh. There is bugger all info on Tesco..few people use them..I guess they
resell some other ISP's product.

Looks like NTL are actually the carrier here, so its the same as the
Virgin DSL service probably which is heavily throttled and rated the
worst DSL service in the country.

Frankly, forget all this 'unlimited' crap. What it means is they will
throttle you so you never exceed a decent speed.

If your target price is £18.75, you would do better to get a limited gig
connection with better throughput,.

Yes, Tescos are cheap, but you will get what you pay for.

I find the speed estimates a bit hit & miss to be honest. I get around 16Mb
with O2, but checking a neighbours property (can't check my own on O2) says
they will get 12Mb, with most customers getting between 8-15Mb.
Tesco say I'll get between 12-18Mb, Plusnet say the same, I'm about 1.5m
from the exchange.

Thing that puts me off with O2 is the £10 mobile top up to to £5 off for 3
months, so I save £1.66 a month.

I'd also prefer to deal with the organ grinder and not the monkey.

Nowadays the monkey knows more than the organ grinder.
