Terminal Services with Added Licenses

We have just setup our first Windows 2003 Server.
Terminal Services and Terminal Services License Server
has been installed. 5 User licenses have been
registered. However, it shows that anybody that connects
is using a temporary 120 usage license, and not these new
licenses. What are we missing? It does show these
licenses available.....

To continue....The License manager shows that 4 temporary
machine licenses have been used. However, when I logged
in with a particular machine for the first time, it
logged in without logging an additional machine on the
temporary licenses.

Am I to understand that the licenses and these management
utilities don't acknowledge when licenses are in use or
used by an individual user? How can you possibly manage
that, short of looking at Terminal Services Management
from time to time to see how many users are attached?

Thank you in advance,
Tom Kemp

Thanks for the response, Robert. You are correct...I did
later discover that we had it still set to per machine,
instead of per user licensing. Once I changed that, it
stopped handing out the per-machine 120-day
licenses...just didn't show that users were using
licenses. As it would turn out, that's because Microsoft
hasn't finished developing the license server for
Terminal Services, so it doesn't show usage...rather it
leaves it up to the administrator to be certain that
he/she has only given out access to the lesser of the
two: the number of users that need access or the number
of licenses owned.
