Terminal service manager - unable to remote control

We had a client whose licensing did not get setup before
the 90 day temporary expired. Prior to expiration, remote
control sessions were working fine. Now, even with
licensing in place, remote controll errors out with an
error 317 stating unable to display message.

Help!
