Terminal Server licensing grace period

Hello:

I thought the answer to this would be easier to find, but TS licensing has
to be one of the most convoluted licensing processes. I just purchased 15 TS
per-user CALs. I've gone through the activation and was able to add the
licenses to my TS Licensing server.

I'm trying to find a way to confirm that the TS itself won't deny clients
after the 120 days grace period. Is there a way to easily confirm that? I
don't want to give my users access and then run into problems when the grace
period expires.

Since I'm using per-user CALs, do I need to worry? I just saw

states "Per User CALs are not monitored by Terminal Server. This means that
even though there is a Per User CAL in the license server database, the Per
User CAL is not decremented when it is used. Additionally, if you use the
Per User licensing mode, when a client logs on to a terminal server for the
second time, the temporary license is not upgraded to a permanent CAL."

Mel,
The best thing to do is to monitor the TS Licensing server and check that
CAL's are being allocated. That means the TS Server is communicating with
the TS licensing server and you won't run into the horrible complete
shutdown event at the end of the grace period,
