We have two networks in two different locations. One has ip schema
192.168.2.xxx, other has 192.168.1.xxx.
We have a SATO CL408E print server with jet direct at both locations. We
connect from one location to the other via VPN. The server at the host
location is Windows 2003 Server, and it is also our terminal server. At the
host site, the computers can print to the SATO via the network and a ts
connection. The network at the remote site also has a SATO CL408E. The
software the remote site is using is on the 2003 Server. The remote network
has a workstation that is connecting to a Ricoh All-in-one with a jet direct
card. In order for him to print through the TS, we used the net use
command for a lpt port, no problem the print jobs go to the TS and back to
his workstation. We are trying to do the same thing with the SATO, but no
luck. There already is a SATO driver on the Server for the local network.
I created another printer for the remote network, thinking that would work.
Does anyone have any other ideas how to make it work? I was unable to get
an answer from SATO.
Thank you in advance!
