TecNew WL1002

Please help. I can not connect to a TecNew WL1002 wireless access
point to configure it. I am able to use the WAP, but I want to config
it. My laptop is able to find the WAP along with the wireless router.
(netgear MR314). When I type in 192.168.1.1, I get page not found.
I changed my subnet to 255.255.0.0 with no luck. Has anyone had any
luck with this WAP? How did you config it? Any suggestions?

The default IP address of the Netgear MR314 is 192.168.0.1, not
192.168.1.1.

Sorry I wan't more clear. I can connect and configure the MR314
without a problem on 192.168.0.1.

I can not connect to the Tecnew WL1002. In the manual, it say the
default IP address of the WL1002 is 192.168.1.1. My system can't find
that IP address.

Just as a follow-up. I was able to figure out my problem. The TecNew
WL1002 came with a software that try to locate the WAP. I was trying
to connect the WAP directly to the router. I think the router was
causing my problem. When I connected one PC to a switch with the WAP,
the software was able to find the WAP, and I was able to configure it.
Once it was configured, I was able to connect it back to the router,
and the software was still able to find the WAP. It seems my problem
is solved, for now.

Patrick, Is your netgear MR314 a wired router or wireless router ? If
it is wireless, then I like to know what MODE did you use when you
config this Tecnew AP please ?
