When teaming NICs (assuming the feature is supported on all the NICs
involved), do they need to be identical, or can you team NICs from different
vendors, or different models of NICs?

Is there a resource from MS that covers this topic/issue?

Thanks in advance.

You are more likely to find information on this at a machine supplier or
NIC supplier site rather than at Microsoft. (eg HP, Dell, Intel).
