TCP write error

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I have a Sharp Zaurus SL-C3000. It runs linux. The browser is Netfront
3.1, a closed source browser.

I just got this hooked up through a wireless AP at work. It seems to
selectively discriminate against linux web servers.... WTF?

If I hit my home web site, I get a TCP write error. My home logs show
no query. If I hit google, yahoo, business.com, etc. all is fine.

But kernel.org and linux.org all fail with a TCP write error....

My only hope is that microsoft.com also fails with the same error....

What is so special about these websites? It is consistent, too. I can
always get yahoo, but never my own website.

I can wget a file from my home website with no problems.... So it has
to be something about the browser + routing or some such. I've used
this browser before on different networks and it always worked fine, so
I have no idea what is going on....

What can cause a TCP write error? And why would it be selective to some
websites?

Stumped,

Did you install tcpdump?

tcpdump might give clues. wireless... could this be an MTU problem,
coupled with a DNF (Don't Fragment) and blocked ICMP Type 3 Code 4?
See RFC2923.

I think it's a browser bug.... Something between the multiple gateways,
NAT, blah, blah....

I've installed Opera 7.3 on that system and it doesn't have a problem
(well, it didn't until the battery died.... ) :-)
