I use the following configuration:
w98se ics host/xp client
w98se browse the web okay
xp client has some limitation (sees only few web sites).

On the host computer (W98SE) I get the following on TCP port 139:
139 nbsession 192.168.0.1 3622 192.168.0.2 time wait
139 nbsession 192.168.0.1 3623 192.168.0.2 time wait
139 nbsession 192.168.0.1 3624 192.168.0.2 established
Can this be the source of problem. If yes how can I fix it.

That information is regarding the file and printer sharing link
between your two computers. It is not the source of the problem.

It maybe that your xp machine needs an adjusted MTU setting. Download
DrTCP and try adjusting the MTU setting to 1492
