tcp KEEPALIVE will be sent in real time in heavy loaded system

I set time inteval of SO_KEEPALIVE option to 5 seconds. I just worried
when the system is very very busy, TCP KEEPALIVE message may not be
sent every 5 seconds. Is this possible?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

You are off the map here, trying to use something for a purpose for
which it was never intended. If this does anything you find useful,
it's by pure luck.
