I just gave it a run on the Easynet 2Mbps DSL line here at work.
ADSLGuide.org.uk test shows 1889/1656, which isn't far off. TCP/IQ show
532/343.
The problem with any speed test is that it doesn't take into account any
bottlenecks between your PC and the testing site. Looking at my own figures
I'd say there's a bottleneck somewhere, and a traceroute reveals a round
trip of 121ms to
www.tcpiq.com compared to only 15ms to
www.adslguide.org.uk
, with the spike to tcpip.com in the link between Easynet and Global
Crossing.
