TCP/IP Network Transport

I get the message "TCP/IP Network transport is not
installed" when I boot up a PC with OS98se. I only
starting geting this message after I tried installing
Bellsouth Home Network. Other PC OSXp operates fine.
Any ideas what this network transport is?
