Run Internet Explorer, go to Tools | Internet Options | Connections |
LAN Settings, and clear all of the boxes on that screen.
Go to Control Panel | Network, double click "Client for Microsoft
Networks" in the list of components, and clear all of the "Windows NT
domain" boxes.
If that doesn't solve the problem, please provide some more
information:
Does the logon box say anything other than "Name" and "Password"? If
so, what is the complete and exact text -- every single word in the
box?
Does the box appear only for particular web sites, or does it appear
for every web site that you try to access? Does it appear as soon as
you try to run Internet Explorer?
Click the Start button and look for a "Log Off" entry in the menu.
Does it just say "Log Off", or is there a user name, as in "Log Off
Paul"?
