Hi all,

I just subscribed to TalkTalk wireless broadband. After receiving
their Huawei HG520s router I noticed that I could access websites but
could not login my gmail, hotmail, MSN or upload pictures on facebook
(Internet Explorer can not access this webpage error). Appart from
that everything is fine but for some reason it won't let me access
those sites. I called Talktalk's helpdesk (really not helpful, they
asked me to empty my cookies! and then to send my laptop to PC World
or call Microsoft for help!!! they even blamed my browser... *sigh*).

Whilst I was waiting for my modem to arrive I was using a temp
Wireless ADSL 2+ Netgear modem and everything was working fine, same
when I connect to the internet at work. But since I received the
Huawei one I can not access those sites for some reason

Talktalk's helpdesk let me down (properly did) and I don't know what
to do in order to get this £$^£$^% modem working properly

Please help me !

Nick

You might take a look at thread I started regarding TT and HM. The solution
was to use DRTCP and set the MTU to 1432. YMMV!

I'll give it a try once I get back home tonight. If it works I will
erect a statue of yourself in my living room
I had a look on other forums and many of them refer to this MTU, let's
hope it'll work for me !
