I get these incompetents to stop sending me bills ?

I left them back in April yet they continue to send me bills, each time for
£46.98 with -£23.49 total due £23.49

I've phoned, was told to ignore the bills and they would cancel them...
didn't work/happen
sent the bill back to billing address with a letter stating I was no longer
a customer etc... didn't work

other than going down to their offices, at great expense to myself, what are
my options ?

thanks for any help

Take all the paperwork and go into one of their shops and ask to see the
manager.

Stop any direct debits and ignore the bills.

Open your mouth and try to make intelligible sound, repeat...
(Well, ask a silly question :-)

Ok, just wait until they take you to court, then produce the evidence, get
costs, time and inconvenience paid for.
Got me £200 of a mortgage company.
Regards,
Martin

stopping the DD was the first thing I did, as soon as the last bill was
paid.
