Recently I had done a clean installation of Windows 2003 Server on a server.
After a week running the server, suddenly a few clients started complaining
as it took so much time (7-10 minutes) to logon to their computer using the
Domain account. Any possible solution to this problem?

Hi,

what kind of domain you have? Windows 2003? Windows 2000? NT?

If you have Windows 2000 domain or later, make sure your clients DNS setting
points to domain controller where DNS is installed. Check if clients can
resolve DNS queries...

On domain controllers make sure servers point to itself for DNS (if DNS
service is installed)...

I hope this helps,

Mike

I have installed Windows 2003 domain. Thanks Mike! It really helps.
Actually, I was not aware that the IP for Preferred DNS in the TCP/IP
Settings has changed. My assistant accidently changed it. Thanks again.
