Im running a network with 2003server and a mix of WinXP
and Win2000 clients. When a user logs on to a Win2000 computer the roaming profile works fine, but I can't get it to work on the XP clients. I get the message cannot download profile from server. Any clues or tips out there ? Henrik Korsvold |

Note that profiles are not compatible between workstation OSes....you can
run into lots of trouble when you try to switch back and forth. There may be some registry/policy tweaking you can do - perhaps someone else will post, but I suspect this is the root of the problem. Also - posting your valid e-mail address in a newsgroup post, or in your news account settings, is a surefire way to get spam and SWEN and other viruses sent to you....see http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm for help in the future, but note that now that your address is out there, there's not much you can do other than changing your address.
