All,
I am using Windows 2003 to host the 'tsweb' Windows Web Terminal Services. Now when I browse to the site on my local LAN using http://windows2003ServerName/tsweb I get the Windows Remote desktop web connection screen appearing and I enter the name of the Windows 2003 server and it connects fine. But when I try this over the internet using http://mydomainname.com/tsweb I still get the Windows Remote desktop web connection screen appearing but when I enter the server name it comes back with a message saying could not find the computer. I am hosting other virtual directories and they all work fine - can anyone help Thanks Msuk msuk |

Something between your remote destop machines and your client is blocking
TCP port 3389. Do you have a firewall on your LAN? -- Thanks, Marc Reynolds Microsoft Technical Support This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Hi,
I do have a firewall but it is switched off for the time being. All ports are open - do I need to create a ip forward rule for that port i.e when the request comes in from the internet my router will foward it onto the internal ip address of my Windows 2003?
