Default Second Server

I am adding a second w2k3 server to our already existing
sbs2k3 server network. I made sure that DHCP is disabled
and gave it a static address on server and set on sbs2k3
dhcp a reserved IP of the same. Now this new server we are
adding is to be used for apps and storage. I joined the
new server to sbs2k3's domain. No problem. But I noticed
that my exchange server on sbs2k3 started acting up. I had
to turn off new server, then rebooted sbs2k3 server to get
exchange to function properly. Any ideas as to what may
have caused this?

Thanks.
JJ

Which log should I be paying the most attention to
App/Security/System? Any particular error(s) I should look
out for?

Thanks,
JJ

Please look in Application and System log.
It's difficult to day what you should look for.
There shouldn't be errors normally, so you look for
errors / problems shown in event log and inform the
Event ID.

Further you say exchange server started acting up. Can you describe the
problems?
