Default How to control our network

I have been inform that some of my network cards are throwing junk packets
constant. I am unable to traced out the problem.

Is there any software from any renowned software house by which we will be
able to trace all problem?

Regards,

Why not just use either the network monitor built into 2000 or 2003 server
to sniff the packets? You could also use either Windump or Etherreal to
sniff the network.

I suppose, if you're up on networking and use managed network equipment, you
could also get the information there.
