I have remote access server installedon win2003 i want to
use windows authentication and windows accounting i created a user locally on this server can this user be used for pptp connection? or do i need to install active directory on the server? myron |

Yes the machine will authenticate against a local
SAM database or pass to the domain controller, assuming the W2k3 server is a domain member. Also check that the remote access policy is set to allow access.
