The RPC server is unavailable

Hello,

I ran into a bit of a problem. The situation is this: I'm trying to access
one of the computers on my local network using "net use \\xx.xx.xx.xx\IPC$
/user:administartor" and I get "System error 51 has occurred. The remote
computer is not available.". It's definetely on the network as I can ping it
by either the IP or the NetBIOS name. When I try "netdom verify xx.xx.xx.xx"
I get "The RPC server is unavailable. The command failed to complete
successfully." The RPC service is running on the remote PC. It's joined to
the same domain as the computer I'm trying to access it from. The stange
thing for me is that it's listed under "Computers" container in AD but it
doesn't appear in "My Network Places". Why so?? Any ideas/advice are
greatfully apreciated.
