Default TCP Chimney - what is it and why did I have to disable it prior to a netmon trace?

Gurus,

In troubleshooting for MS support recently on a case I opened with them, I
was told to disable tcp chimney (since I was running Windows Server 2003
SP2) prior to capturing a netmon trace. I am not sure why I had to disable
tcp chimney prior to capturing a netmon trace let alone what tcp chimney
even is. Any ideas?
