I have a desktop running Win98se that is our main dog for email, printing, etc.
But now, I've moved my HP printer from LPT1 to a network connection so the other laptops in the house can print without having the Win98se running. I used a little Netgear PS101 server, that attaches to the Centronics connector, and the Netgear has an Ethernet RJ45 and power - really nice solution. I could just install the Netgear software, but was looking for something more generic. Anyway - Win98se doesn't have the TCP/IP printing capability, so what software have folks installed to support this type of printing ? P.Schuman |

UPDATE..... installed the NetGear "add printer wizard" & works fine, but still would like to know what others have done for generic software ? > Anyway - Win98se doesn't have the TCP/IP printing capability, > so what software have folks installed to support this type of > printing ? |
