Default Mac to MS pptp vpn

I have a mac user that is using os x and is trying to connect to our
win2k3 server pptp vpn server. The server is authenticating with
active directory. I have created an active directory account for the
user. He states that this is not working now but was in the past. He
was able to log in from the mac with the authentication provided in
active directory. Just wondering how this worked in the past since
the mac is not using AD directly to authenticate. Thanks

Does PPTP VPN connectivity work for a PC user?

Yes it does. They are using active directory though. Just wondering
how the mac knew to use the AD account created for the mac user.
Thanks

Try it on a non-AD member computer.

I don't know. Test the Mac user's credentials in a PPTP connection from a
Windows PC that's
entirely separate from your domain - and see whether you have a problem
there.

Thanks for the suggestion lanwench. I had the user go through
internet connect and they were able to get through.

OK - so they're all right, then? It isn't the user account? Is it OK on the
Mac now?
