Hi,
How do I find the host name conflict in my domain? I have approximately 300 hosts in my LAN, 50 of them are connected to my LAN through VPN. I am thinking using the WINS to find out, but the WINS has so many records and it seems not so easy. Thanks for help. Jason Jason Huang |

First open the event error and find out the
tcp/ip address. You have to convert the hexadecimal numbers in the details field (last 4 at the bottom) to binary to determine the address in conflict. Then use NBLookup.exe http://support.microsoft.com/kb/830578 "Jason Huang" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:(E-Mail Removed)... > Hi, > > How do I find the host name conflict in my domain? > I have approximately 300 hosts in my LAN, 50 of them are connected to my > LAN through VPN. > I am thinking using the WINS to find out, but the WINS has so many records > and it seems not so easy. > Thanks for help. > > > Jason > > |
