I prefer the D-links myself. However, you must note that all routers have
issues with online gaming, because online gaming usually doesn't like NAT.
Sometimes even after doing some port forwarding things may not work.

Thanks for your reply..
I understand that some game servers won't allow more than one computer on
with the same IP address (as assigned by the router). Meaning...my network
mates join the same game/server as to play together. Is there anyway around
this without purchasing more than one account? Is there a router that would
allow this or some configuration that can be made?

No, your only choice then would be to purchase additional IP addresses.
There is also a type of router called a dual-WAN router, which allows you to
have upto two separate WAN ports for additional throughput. So you could
take any combination of cable and dsl modems and attach them both to your
router, and the router itself will take care of load-balancing between the
connections. You could even set it up so that you have certain WAN
connections dedicated to certain LAN nodes.

Here's some reviews of dual-WAN routers:

Thanks for suggestion...but I don't that's very practical for just playing
games.
What irritate me the most!!! some people say, they don't have my problem,
connecting more than one computer with-in their network and joining to the
same server. No one can offer any solution either....
Back to original question I purchase a better quality router could that
solve my problem?
