Books on CCNA Guide and lab

For CCNA 3, my instructor gives two opitons where he calls it New and
Old.

- New is for just CCNA 3: 978-1-58713-170-7 and 978-1-58713-171-4
(lab). Amazon reviews is not good especially for the lab.

978-1-58713-170-7 is Switching Basics and Intermediate Routing CCNA

- Old is for CCNA 3&4: 1587131137 and 1587131145 (lab) + 1587131153
for Engineering Journal and Workbook)

Since a newer version than the one he calls "new" would be coming out
anytime soon, I am reluctant to buy the ones he calls old.If anyone
knows book better than these, please let me know.
