Hi,
I've been trying to solve a network connection issue, and at first thought it was DHCP, then a wireless issue, but after more testing it boils down to this... Windows Server 2003 network. 2 servers, both AD's, and about 20 workstations. I have one laptop (XPPro) that when even connected wired and static IP drops connections to drives and certain workstations machines over time. I can reboot and get a full compliment of connections, but shortly it will drop several drives. These drives are mapped to drives on workstations I need to see. It never drops connections to drives on the servers. All my other workstations connect fine. It's just this one laptop. All updates are applied to it. Laptop is a fairly new HP Pavilion 6500t. I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks! --Randy Starkey Randy Starkey |
