I have a Two office network connected via VPN. Multiple 2003 servers in both
offices. There is a Terminal Server in Each off and an Exchange server. The Termainl server in office A can browse, map etc to any server in office B.. Exchange the Terminal Server in Office B. The Terminal Server in Office B can browse to , map to etc any system in Office A, except the terminal server. Firewall on each server is off. VPN works fine. Both servers are Windows 2003 SP2. If I run "net view" from one of the server to the other, I get an error 1236. Typically when I try to map drives , connect with computer manager etc, I typically get an error mesage that I do not have rights. I can ping each server from the other. At a loss. -- Lee Batson Lee Batson |

MS recent update may changes some security settings. Can you telnet some

I can telnet. However, if I try to use the RDP client, it does not connect.
This applies to both directions. -- Lee Batson "Robert L. (MS-MVP)" wrote: > MS recent update may changes some security settings. Depends. If I try a net use from either server to the other, I get a error
1236. If I try to map via explorer in either direction, I get a message that the local system aborted. If I go the the start run, then type in \\servername, I get an error that no network system responded. I can map to any other system with no problem. I can ping between the two systems. I can map across VPN to any system, just not between server a and server b. -- Lee Batson "Robert L. Wish there was. The only issue I can relate to this is that server b was
originally setup with the same license as server a. When that was discovered, server b was setup with a new install of windows 2003 with the correct license. -- Lee Batson "Robert L.
