i have an hp nx7400 notebook (windows xp professional), which has a intel pro wireless 3945bg network card. i was using it to connect to internet through a wireless router provided by yhe isp. lately the hardware was not getting recognized, not listed in the device manager, but when i did a scan for hardware changes yesterday, it recognized a new device and applied the 'bluetooth lan access server driver' to it. i dont have a bluetooth device by the name of it. Other bluetooth devices are functioning normally. When i tried to apply the intel driver myself, i get a code 10 error. why is the network card being recognized as a device which is not present in my notebook? and what could be the solution? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ View this thread: http://www.wirelessforums.org/showthread.php?t=31734 http://www.wirelessforums.org Prasanna |
