Default Trendnet wireless USB adapter installed on Win98SE, but winipcfg not seeing adapter

Hi there,

I just installed a Trendnet TEW-424UB wireless USB adapter on my
Win98SE machine. I can use the Trendnet utility to see that the
adapter is connecting to my Actiontec wireless router with great
signal strength, but I can't connect to the internet at all.

WINIPCFG doesn't list the adapter at all.

IPCONFIG /ALL returns:

As you can see, no mention of my Trendnet adapter.

I can't ping anything either.

Anyone know how I can get this thing connected?

Thanks!

For configuration, consult the Osborne
Internet: the Complete Reference (by Margaret
Levine Young.) Your wireless adapter should
presumably first be installed as a Network Device.
