Every router I've owned has let me change the access name from the default
of "admin" to one of my own choosing. I'm going crosseyed looking at the manual for instructions to change this for my new Netgear one but there doesn't seem to be an option to change this. (I've changed the password). Dunno why I'm worrying but it seems odd that this first step in the security ladder seems to be missing. Tim Tim Downie |
