As in the caption, I have no idea where to post this otherwise.
If a better place is known I would surely like to know (to maximize my chance to a solution :-) ) The problem : I've quite recently bought a SITECOM md-250 network-storage disk, and although I can store, retrieve and delete to/from the disk, any kind of wildcard-searches (either from a DOS-box command-line or by using a FindFirstFile kernel32.dll function-call) allways fail. In other words : "drive:\path\*" works, but (something like) "drive:\path\*.txt" consistently fails. While Googeling for an answer returned questions about all sorts of problems with the drive, none mentioned anything like I'm currently experiencing. Hence my post here. Any hints, pointers, suggestions or other helpfull sounds will be appriciated. :-) Regards, Rudy Wieser R.Wieser |
