I have a Belkin F5D7230 v7000 wireless router. This model is capable
of acting as an access point. However this version (version 7000) has no WDS menu. If I configure the router as an access point and get another router of the same kind, is it somehow possible to to WDS with two of these. Version 7000 is the latest model in stores... Thanks! I know this thread is a couple of months old, but I bought the same model router and had the same problem.
The router DOES have WDS, the menu item is just hidden! open your internet browser and go to 192.168.2.1/wireless_wds.stm (If you've changed your router ip then substitute it instead) and bingo! Hope that this helps someone! Cheers Matt |
