That would be your best strategy. Uninstall ICS and remove your TCP/IP settings from network manager and your NIC from Device manager then reboot. Install your NIC again on reboot. Configure your network to the same IP number range and subnet as the other PC's on the LAN. Share a folder to make it available to the other PC's on the LAN. Reboot and after a successful configuration you should now have a PPP adapter, a TCP/IP adapter. Test it's access and then install ICS again as per usual. |
