Creating Trust between two Domains

OK, I have two Windows 2003 servers running in Windows Server 2003 domain
functional level.

I created two secondary DNS zones both replicate just fine - i have reverse
lookup zone and forward lookup zone both setup.

I am getting
"The name you specified is not a valid Windows domain name."

From one server, when I create it on the other server it goes through, but
doesnt validate.

Any help would be greatly appriciated
