I use the free Orange Broadband service (linked to a mobile phone account)
which has a 2GB monthly limit. When I asked Orange what happened if you exceeded the monthly cap, the person I spoke to was very cagey and eventually talked about them sending me a warning letter etc. I just wondered if other Orange customers had experience of what happens in practice when/if you exceed the monthly quota? It's normally a fire storm and plague of locusts for the first offence. > When I asked Orange what happened if you exceeded the monthly cap, the > person I spoke to was very cagey and eventually talked about them sending > me a warning letter etc. Confirm with Orange that the warning letter will also include your MAC code. You'll need it for when you move to a decent ISP. |

Could be worse - they might use 'sarcasm' (shades of Dinsdale Piranha) -- [ 7'ism - a condition by which the sufferer experiences an inability to give concise answers, express reasoned argument or opinion. Usually accompanied by silly noises and gestures - incurable, early euthanasia recommended. ] |
