I'm very grateful for the Linksys 5 yr warranty as I've replaced my cards several times. However I haven't had multiple cards die at once as you describe, so it sounds like something weird is definitely going on. I'd probably go ahead and try new cards, since they are covered under warranty, and see what happens - but if they die again I don't know.
