Hi! I've forgotten the password of my 3port printserver Hawking PN7337P. Does anybody know how I can reset this printserver to factory presets? Thanks! Bye, Dirk |

Good chance this would reset the password to default. |

You must have a later version of firmware. I had use of a Hawking PN7117P for awhile (a review is at: http://www.sacpcug.org/archives/0104/prc0401.html) and do not recall any issue with passwords. Does the Web-based config screen look familiar? -- Remove INVALID from e-mail address. |

And the great support of Hawking Technology makes it easy for me never to buy anything from Hawking Technology (as they just don't react on emails...) again! Bye, Dirk PS: Maybe there is a possibility to short-circuit any chip to reset the factory settings? A reset switch couldn't do anything more?! |

Until now I didn't found one (I found a similar lookin' printserver at an online shop, unfortunately this was a NoName without any hints about the producer...) I already opend this f***ing printserver, but there's no jumper, switch, etc... Just nothing... Bye, Dirk |
