I have a D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G510 card currently using a driver dated
3/22/05. D-link has an updated driver v. 2.11 dated 4/11/05. I'm wary of updating drivers, whether they be for a video card, sound card, etc because it seems there are often more problems with the newer drivers. Also, the new D-link driver download is 14mb, so I assume the entire setup program has been updated? Also, MS has a newer driver dated 4/07 (269 kb) on their update webpage, but I've been told to stay away from MS drivers as they can screw things up. I'm having no problems with the current setup. Is there any advantage to installing an updated driver, either the D-link or the newer MS driver? Thx. sillyputty |

Not worth the risk of messing something up if it works fine. |
