Hamachi question?

Aimed at anyone that knows of or uses Hamachi ....

I've noticed that whilst running Hamachi with two other family members on
the one netowrk .... that the firewall logs shows continous Hamachi traffic
flow even when nothing is happening across the Hamachi Network

Comes to about 30-40 megs per day based on the PC being left on for about 10
hours

Any ideas or knowledge?

It's probably lots of conversations on the lines of
"Hi, I'm a Windows PC, is there anyone out there?"
"Hi, I'm a Windows PC too. Have you got any resources you want to
share?"
"Just a printer. How about you?"
"I've got a shared folder."
"OK, speak to you later."
"OK, bye."

Ha yeah guess so - just seemed to be a lot of idle bandwidth

Not HUGE but ... 30Mb per day x 31 days is almost a gig - thats half of my
parents monthly bandwidth gone on syaing "Hello" :-)
