Default how to disable win defender on vista trouht a gpo on win server 20



Hello
Can you help me? i need to disable the win defender (not firewall) on vista
computers througt a gpo on a win 2003 server
Thanks for all your help, i don't find anythink how to make this, server
2003 gpo dont' have this service

Hi,

I did not test that, but here is what I think you should do from a Vista
computer in your domain:

- Logon with a domain admin user
- Start | Run | MMC
- Add the Group Policy Object Editor snap-in
- Open the Default Domain Policy or any other GPO you want to add this
policy to
- Computer Configuration | Administrative Templates | Windows Components |
Windows Defender and activate the "Disable Windows Defender" policy
